TBAS believes that tchoukball coaches form one of the key pillars to the growth of tchoukball in Singapore. Hence, we have revamped the Technical Level 1 course to be aligned CoachSG to help interested coaches to improve their coaching and playing skills.
Course Details :
Introduction to Tchoukball Workshop (ITB)
Introduction to Tchoukball workshop is a workshop open to everyone with or without prior knowledge about Tchoukball. Participants will be taken through a 2 hours hands-on session, where they get to learn more about the sport, it's origin and game play.
This workshop is a prerequisite to attend the TBAS Technical level 1 course.
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded upon completion.
TBAS Technical level 1 Coaching Course
The TBAS Technical level 1 Coaching Course seeks to equip the participants to be competent in conducting the Introduction to Tchoukball Workshop. Participants will be taught the basic technical and tactical aspects of the game, and sport-related risk management.
At the end of the course, participants are required to undergo a theory written paper, and conduct a practical assessment consisting of the assigned simple Tchoukball drill segment.
All participants will receive course material, coaches handbook, a coaching manual by Coach Fang, whistle and a pair of knee pads.
In addition, participants who pass the course will receive:
1. A TBAS "C" Coach Card valid for 3 years
2. A TBAS Coach Shirt
Prerequisite
Before attending this course, participants must have earlier attained the Certificate of Attendance for Introduction to Tchoukball Workshop (ITB).
